Identity

In our video, we decided to address an experience shared by us, in some ways, as we share our experiences in the area of artistic creations. With the paper bags over our heads, we lose the identity and individuality that make us who we are and make us each distinctive human beings. We face away from each other; no communications were exchanged. Jus t like magnets, the same pole repels. While we were so focused on not sticking out, we also push others away. But one person is what it takes to make a difference to our thinking, although at first, people would turn a blind eye to her, or even resist her effort to protect the “unspoken rules.” The indifference and the criticisms burnt her to the ground, but just like a phoenix, we rise from the ashes, dirt, and disapproval, which makes us stronger. After our reincarnation, we are even more determined to make our voices heard...
